I miss Mr. Coffee

There are no normal coffee machines in this entire building. You have to go ALL THE WAY across campus to get a cup of drip coffee (which too is from fancy peets coffee machine). The only thing we have here are fancy nespresso gemini machines that look like beasts waiting to eat you.

SCARY NESPRESSO MACHINE

Scary Machine

All I really want is a sweet friendly Mr. Coffee machines (yes I admit to desiring fancy beans to go with it), but look how unscary it is! It smiles at you!

Friendly Machine

How blasphemous!

My new favorite obsession, Monsoon Malabar coffee.
Here’s what wikipedia says for it:

“The harvested and processed beans are exposed to the monsoon winds for a period of about three to four months, causing the beans to swell and lose the original acidity, resulting in a sweet and syrupy brew. The coffee is unique to the Malabar coast of Karnataka and Kerala and has protected status under the Geographical Indications of Goods Act. The name Monsooned Malabar is derived from exposure to the monsoon winds of the Malabar coast.”
The blend is heavy bodied, pungent and is considered to be dry with a musty, chocolatey aroma and notes of spice and nuts.”
